Beatties' Plaque
Blue plaque marking the founding of Beatties department store. The present owners wanted to change the name to show their 'corporate image' but Wulfrunians would have none of it. Beatties it was, is now and ever will be.
Good of the locals to raise enough of a fuss to make the owner thing twice.
